O departamento de Guaviare, anteriormente marcado pela violência e pelo conflito armado, conseguiu, desde a assinatura do Acordo de Paz de 2016, mostrar a beleza do seu território. As suas paisagens revelam a riqueza da flora, da fauna e dos rios, onde golfinhos serpenteiam pelas águas da região. Diversas comunidades uniram-se para trabalhar na proteção do Corredor do Jaguar, contribuindo não só para a conservação deste animal, mas também para a proteção das suas próprias terras e explorações agrícolas.

The department of Guaviare, once affected by violence and armed conflict, has been able to reveal the beauty of its territory since the signing of the 2016 Peace Agreement. Its landscapes showcase the richness of its flora, fauna, and rivers, where dolphins weave through the region’s waterways. Various communities have joined forces to protect the Jaguar Corridor, contributing not only to the conservation of this species but also to the safeguarding of their own lands and farms.
